Good News! Good News!
Here in the Library we are working on a GREAT UPDATE! We are calling it the "21st Century Learning Library Transformation" The plan is to take the library you see now and update it into the 21st century! How exciting for our students, teachers and school community! We will start with the technology & circulation system, continue on to updating materials and resources then end up in a new room on the west side of our building with windows and space to transform into a total learning area! We are raising money, writing grants and working hard to make these changes. Check back often as we will be updating as changes are made! We will also be letting you know what you can do to help TRANSFORM our library!!!
Author Jefferson Knapp and Mrs. Branine
We enjoyed our visit from Jefferson Knapp on Kansas Day. He talked with our students from Kindergarten to Fourth grade about his new book, "The Rightful Heir". Students were able to see the book trailers, a life size model of "Farangis" the evil snake and hear about future plans for the 3rd book in the series expected out later this year. Everyone had a great time having Mr. Knapp in our building again. He is a real Kansas Author! Check out the review on the back cover of the new. You might see something you will recognize!
A list of our friends, current and past who help keep our library great!! Thank you for your time, money and support!
